Dr. GreeneBarr here with this week's prophetic message for your meditation and action just in time for Christmas😍

Earlier this year, I was introduced to The Chosen series that aires on YouTube and in the Chosen app. Perhaps you've heard about it or seen some of the episodes. Sunday night, we went to the theatres to see the Chosen Christmas special as told from Mary and the shepherds' perspective. The episode is prompted by Mary's desire for Luke to know more of the details about Jesus' birth that she had not shared but had kept alive in her heart.

But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. Luke 2:19

Holding onto the things that God allows to be perceived and known...

This year has been absolutely wonderful. I purposefully chose the word wonderful because, throughout the year, I've witnessed the wonder of the Lord.

For starters, I opened the year with an instruction from the Lord to host a 23-day consecration and to invite others to join me. It was to be named a Positional Consecration. From that consecration, God gave us insight and perspective, and He fortified us to move into this year with clarity and purpose. I've watched as many of the participants have advanced through this year with deliberate focus and achieved the place and position revealed to them by the Lord. I will be asking some of them to share how the consecration positioned them to walk into advancements this year.

Yet, Sunday night, my spirit was opened during prayer as I reflected on the difference it makes when I've not inquired more diligently of God when He has whispered revelation to me.

Reader, not diligently inquiring leads to slow or even stalled progress...

The question that I pondered about those past experiences was...

Why didn't I inquire more diligently?

The answer will sound familiar to you.

It was because the religious training I had known the majority of my life had taught me not to ask God probing questions. In fact, even as a child, I vividly remember being scolded by my elder relatives for asking "too many questions". I had been indoctrinated not to inquire.

Sidenote... what I know now but didn't know then is that I was born a Prophet and that God, in fact, was developing my spiritual sight into the eyes of a Prophet and other spiritual gifts even though my religious context made no room for the office I had been born into. Yea, deep!

As the Holy Spirit turned the pages of my life and showed me the sections where God had given me revelation, but I didn't inquire for greater insight, my heart filled with sorrow. I began to repent!

I repented because on the other side of the revelations that God was giving to me were actual people who needed what God had given me to carry to them. But I didn't because I had not inquired more diligently. Like Jeremiah, I had seen well but had not inquired when I didn't comprehend what I had seen. Instead I allowed it to fade away.

Our God is forgiving!

The Lord's response to my repentance was yet the sharing of more revelation.

Holy Spirit continued to open more pages of my life, but this time, I saw the revelations that I'd received and held onto with a mighty grip. Among them were visitations where God told me how a matter would turn out, and I held onto the word of prophecy all the way to victory. So many instances where I've been diligent to hold on and refuse to let go of what I'd seen or heard by the Spirit of the Lord were shown to me. Like Mary, I, too, have pondered things in my heart.

Reader As I've been preparing to close out this year, I purposed within to revisit those divine moments with God to make sure that I've been faithful to all that God had assigned for me to give my service. You know...the things I meditated upon and refused to let go.

In so doing, I'm strengthened to bear witness to the effect of meditating on every word and revelation God gives, even to the place of manifestation from the spiritual world into the natural world.

God's word for you today is this...

Hold on and refuse to let go! In other words, meditate on what God has said as you witness the fulfillment of God's acts. In so doing, you will learn the ways of God.

It is so, and it shall not be otherwise. AMEN
