Prophetic Message For Your Meditation & Action - Jan. 19th

Dr. GreeneBarr here with this week's prophetic message for your meditation and action.

Extreme cold blanketed many states this week. The news reports from Chicago, where electric cars had collapsed under the severity of the Arctic air, caught my attention.

The batteries died in these cars, and many people waited hours upon hours in line for their turn to attempt to revive the life of their $40-80K+ vehicle. Some even abandoned their cars because the 1-degree temperatures made it impossible for them to withstand the wait in line.

Amazingly, there were people who were angry with the CEO of one particular electric car company, Elon Musk. Yet, the brilliant inventor holds no sway upon weather conditions because the Earth is not his.

The Earth belongs to the one who created it, God.

Misplaced anger is not new...

Abel was murdered by his brother over misplaced anger.

Brothers Cain & Abel never lived in the Garden of Eden, but they did have an ongoing relationship with God. Cain was a farmer, and his brother Abel was a shepherd. While the Scriptures do not share extensively about their interactions with God, one thing is clear: God taught them what's required when presenting offerings.

Reader, this subtle point captures my attention. Why did Cain choose to present his offering to God contrary to the manner in which God had taught him to give?

He knew better!

He had zero excuses because it was clear that God had taught him how to do "well."

If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin is lurking at the door; its desire is for you, but you must master it. Genesis 4:7

Cain did not heed God's warning to master the sin that was lurking at the door (of his heart). Instead, he plotted to redirect his anger towards his brother.

The message for us from this moment in Cain's life is to be watchmen of our own doors. The sin that had been lurking at the door was the enticer that moved Cain to disregard what God had previously taught him concerning giving his offerings.

How long had that enticer been lurking? Well, the Scripture says the brothers came at harvest time, or the course of time. It wasn't a sudden attack.

It had been lurking.

Our best strategy for pleasing and honoring God is to watch our lives for the enticements that have been lurking for a period of time. Lurking enticers are dimly perceived, and they are looking for the moment to enter.

Reader, start asking God to show you what has been lurking around the door of your heart.

It is undoubtedly there!

Waiting for the moment to enter.

If the best defense is a good offense, then watching for that which has been lurking is necessary right now!

When you seek God for revelation about what is and has been lurking around your doors (points of entrance to your soul), the Lord will expose the intentions of that/those lurking spirit(s).

Nothing to fear because, as a Believer, you have the ability to master what is lurking.

Caution.... doing nothing is dangerous!

Dr. GreeneBarr here with this week's prophetic message for your meditation and action. A couple of days ago, this meme was texted to me. What do you think about the message?
